When do I call a service tech?
Give us a call right away if:
- A breaker trips twice.
- If more than one fuse blows.
- When the water pressure is surging
- If the lights dim when the pump turns on.
- If you notice the pump starting/stopping more than usual.
- When the water pressure is low.
- When water is discolored, muddy, or cloudy.
- If the overload trips more than twice.
What is the lifespan of a submersible well pump?
A good brand of pump and motor installed correctly will typically last 15 to 25 years. The same goes for pressure tanks and control boxes.
If you are experiencing problems every few years, then it is most likely poor quality products, improper design, or an error in the application.
